Welcome to my Gallery!  Much of the time my studio is in the glorious California Landscape, and many of my paintings are done en plein-air (outside), in both pastels and oils.

In addition to nature, my greatest inspiration are the early California Impressionists (1890 - 1930), who passionately loved painting many of the spots I’m fortunate to visit.

My hope is to share nature’s luminous beauty with you, and to encourage conservation of our precious environment.
